THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands—One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
THE HUGUENOT PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
Flag of the United States, we salute thee,
In thy red we shall ever see the blood of our Huguenot Fathers
and Mothers which was so gloriously shed for thee.
In thy white we shall ever see blended the choicest lilies of
France, fragrant with purity and devotion to God.
And thy blue shall speak of the unswerving character and
purpose of the Huguenot
In the name of our father’s God and our God, we pledge new
our allegiance to thee. May God keep us steadfast, as He
kept them steadfast, and in joy or in sorrow may we know,
as they knew, that underneath are the Everlasting Arms.

Filled with gratitude to our fathers for the resolution which they took, 400 years ago, to confirm their faith and their creed with the Holy Scriptures,
Proclamons aujourd’hui notre ferme volonte de rester fidele a la foi reformee, et
Let us proclaim today our firm intention of remaining faithful to the Reformed Faith, and
Affirmons que Jesus- Christ demeure a jamais le seul et unique Chef de l’Eglise.
Let us affirm that Jesus Christ lives forever, the One and only Head of the Church.
Avec l’aide Dieu-Tout-Puissant, nous le promettons en silence et avec la main levee vers le ceil!
With the help of Almighty God, let us promise it, in silence and with the hand risen toward Heaven.
